Prices & Ordering
Jen’s House of Cakes can create a cake to suit any budget, taste or style. 
Every cake is individually designed to meet your requirements; no two cakes are the same.
There are several things you need to consider before ordering a cake:
- Number of guests
- Flavour of cake
- Choice of filling and covering
- Style of cake i.e. decorations, modern/traditional
- Colours to be used or avoided
- Message to be included i.e. “Happy Birthday”
Prices
All prices provided on this website are there as a basic guide. Please contact me for a personalised quote.
Payments can be made by cheque (payable to Mrs J Bone) or cash. All cakes ordered require a non-refundable deposit.
Prices for Celebration/Birthday Cakes start at £45.
Decorated Cupcakes - minimum order of 12
A Box of 12 Decorated Cupcakes start from £25 (Larger orders welcomed, price
per cupcake is reduced the more cupcakes you require)
Decorated Cookies from £1.50 each (minimum order of 6) – these can be individually bagged and tied with ribbon at an extra cost if requested.
Deposits
All orders require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date and booking.
For Celebration, Birthday and Christening cakes a non-refundable £15 deposit is required. The balance is due on or before collection..
Please place your order as early as possible to avoid disappointment, at least 2 weeks notice is appreciated. However, 2 months notice is recommended for fruit cakes to allow plenty of time for feeding with Brandy and maturing - yum yum. (I am happy to take bookings up to a year in advance).
It is sometimes possible to place an order at short notice, please contact me for further details.
Delivery & Collection
Delivery is free for cakes costing over £100 within the Teesside area (subject to availability) otherwise collection is required. It may be possible to arrange delivery for other cakes; however a small charge will apply.
Special Note
Jen’s House of Cakes appreciate that all the major supermarkets now offer reasonably priced celebration cakes, however I would like to highlight that my prices reflect the quality of ingredients used, research, design and the amount of time taken to create a unique cake to meet your specific requirements.
